MOST SHOCKING MOMENT: Captain America Wields Mjolnir
Said to only be held by those deemed worthy, Mjolnir is an enchanted weapon based on Norse Mythology that Thor uses to channel his powers. After teasing the possibility of Captain America lifting Mjolnir in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, the truth is finally revealed two films later when we see the hammer hover and boomerang past Thanos into Captain America’s grasp. He then wields Mjolnir’s ancient power to summon lightning from the sky to strike Thanos in an epic cinematic sweep! What a way to unseat the audience!

MOST HEROIC MOMENT: Marching into Hydra’s Base
After touring the war camps with motivational speeches and patriotic performances, Rogers takes being a symbol of hope to the next level. In Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger, he liberates the captured US soldiers from the enemy and takes down a Hydra base all in one night! While the officers sat on the sidelines thinking a rescue was impossible, his bravery and courage to do what was right made this one of the most heroic rescues ever as Captain America.
MOST NOTEWORTHY MOMENT: Hydra Elevator Takedown
Trapped in an elevator surrounded by Hydra’s men in Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America demonstrates an incredible amount of resourcefulness and tactical skill as he knocks them out in a matter of minutes. What’s truly noteworthy is he fought singlehandedly while stuck to the elevator wall and then dove out the elevator window to escape the incoming wave of soldiers!
MOST SELFLESS MOMENT: The Great Sacrifice
Origin stories are the foundation of any hero’s reputation and Captain America certainly left behind a commendable legacy to those who knew him during WWII. Between taking a fake grenade for his fellow trainees and plunging a Hydra Bomber into the Arctic ocean, Steve Rogers is one of the most selfless superheroes to date. As a beacon of hope to the soldiers fighting on the front lines and the citizens of the United States, he had a lot riding on his shoulders. Yet, he did astounding things with dignity and a deep sense of integrity to stand up for little guys.

Who else can outmatch themself in a fight while Iron Man and Ant-Man argue about how flattering the suit makes him look? Not many. But in Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame, Captain America had several years of experience over his past self to his advantage which led to his win and of course, of the most famously hilarious line….. “That is America’s Ass”.
