Now that the posing is finished, it's time to announce the potential winners to take home the prize! We've chosen our top 5 favorite shots for each category. but only one can win! As a thank you for participating in the Minimates 20th Anniversary Photography Contest, we're rewarding the runner ups with 100 gems to redeem on the Diamond Select Toys webstore!
To recap, here's the criteria we used to choose your images.
REALISM: Is your photo just a picture of a Minimate standing in a display case, or is it interacting with the environment?
CREATIVITY & IMAGINATION: Sparks, smoke, camera effects, something else? What can you do with simple camera tricks or accessories to enhance your photo? Can you tell a story with your photo or how you pose your Minimates? Recreate your favorite battle scenes or make up your own!
PHOTOSHOP: Using Photoshop effects, such as color correction and light retouching, is acceptable. However, as this is a photography contest, submissions with heavy photo effects and edits will be disqualified.
TOP 5 ACTION SHOTS
Full of dynamic poses and action, these shots impressed the DST team with thier creativity and believability! This category features characters in realistic action poses, action sequences, and battle scenes!
